T-Land Resort

T-Land Resort is a Surf Resort located in Rote Island

T-Land Resort is a surf resort on Rote Island that boasts world-class surfing and a relaxed tropical atmosphere. The resort is named after one of Indonesia's longest waves, which breaks close to T-Land Surf Resort, in the small village of Nembrala. Not only is Nembrala Lefts - also known as T-Land - one of the longest waves in Indonesia but the various sections of the wave are also suitable for surfers at different skill levels. In addition, there are a number of other great waves, including fantastic rights, like the super hollow wave known as Boa to the beautifully rippable wave known as Bommie. There are no crowds here so unlike it's Java counterpart, T-Land is a wave that you can plan to score all day every day.

The T-Land Resort itself offers very comfortable accommodations, which appeal to all types of travelers, including couples, families, singles and groups of 18-20 people max. T-Land Resort has been built to high standards, using traditional methods and under the supervision of an experienced North American engineering team. The Resort is fenced all-round with coral rock which provides privacy and safety while maintaining the resort's beautiful sea views.

::WAVES::
T-Land and Bommie are the main attractions here and both waves break right in front of the resort. T-Land's boat is also anchored right at the water's edge allowing easy access to both waves. But, there are other fantastic waves on offer within just minutes of the resort and when conditions are right you can expect to be whisked off to a variety of perfect waves.

::ACCOMMODATIONS::
T-Land is comprised of 4 bungalows (8 rooms in total). Each bungalow has been hand-built by Indonesian artisans using only locally sourced materials from Rote Island. Each bungalow features a traditional thatched roof which is supported by coral rock walls. Each room has been individually appointed in its own distinctive decor, using local antiques and refined teak furnishings. Natural sea breezes and strategically placed fans provide a consistent and comfortable temperature. Open-air bathrooms offer magnificent sea views.

::RESTAURANT::
T-Land Resort also offers a spacious beachside restaurant and cafe. Its white sand floor and renowned decor offer and inviting, comfortable and well presented atmosphere. An experienced chef and kitchen staff prepare a daily menu consisting of both traditional Rotés coking along with foreign influences. The restaurant is devoted to quality and they only serve local produce that's been handled with the utmost care. Special dietary menus can be offered as requested.

::ABOUT ROTE::
Rote Island (Pulau Rote, sometimes spelled Roti) is an Indonesian island, part of the East Nusa Tenggara province of the Lesser Sunda Islands. It is situated 500 km northeast of Australia and just southwest of the larger island of Timor. It is surrounded by the Savu Sea to the north, and the Timor Sea to the south. West of Rote lies Savu and Sumba.

The main town, Ba'a, is located on the northern side of the island, while Rote, which is known for some of the best surfing in Indo, is located in the south around the village of Nemberala. In addition to its amazing waves, Rote is also know for holding many historical artifacts, including antique Chinese porcelain and other ancient arts and relics. The local people are also known for their jewelry making. There is also an interesting native to Rote, known as a Sasando, which is made of palm leaves.

The landscape of Rote includes rolling hills, tiered farmlands and an abundance of acacia palm and savanna, which creates a stunning backdrop for the beautiful seas and fantastic surf.
